These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Tech Ideas LLC regarding your use of the TrueConnect hiring and onboarding platform ("TrueConnect", "we", "us", or "our") and related services (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, applying for a position through them, or opting in to receive messages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
TrueConnect is a hiring and onboarding platform operated by Tech Ideas LLC, which also operates other platforms and brands (such as OfferMile and other Tech Ideas products). We help companies receive applications and guide candidates through interviews, onboarding, and related steps.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
The Services let candidates apply for positions and complete hiring and onboarding, and let companies manage their hiring. You agree to use the Services only for these lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Use of the Services does not create an employment relationship with Tech Ideas LLC and does not guarantee employment with any company.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in (by checking the SMS consent box on our application form), you agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from TrueConnect related to your application, hiring, and onboarding process. This includes one-time verification codes, interview scheduling and reminders, onboarding step notifications (such as account setup, background check status, and document requests), and training/orientation reminders.
SMS information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Certain positions require background checks and the submission of sensitive information (such as a Social Security Number and identity documents). Where applicable, these are conducted with your authorization and may be subject to additional disclosures and consents required by law, which will be provided to you separately as part of that process. You agree to provide accurate information for these purposes.
You agree not to: submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; impersonate any person or entity; upload malicious code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users' data; interfere with or disrupt the Services; or use the Services in violation of applicable law or the rights of others.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information — including how information may be shared with the hiring company you applied to, with service providers, and among Tech Ideas LLC's affiliated platforms and brands to operate and improve our services. Please review it carefully.
The Services, including their software, design, text, and content, are owned by Tech Ideas LLC and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
The Services may rely on or link to third-party services (for example, SMS and email delivery, identity verification, and background-check providers). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and use of the Services does not guarantee employment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Ideas LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tech Ideas LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tech Ideas LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
